I understand that, no shit. As far as I know the Getrag 280 is the only trans with a removable bellhousing used on e30s.

Ha, yeah these aren't that bad to find.. If I actually made an effort to hunt one down at one of the many boneyards around here I'd find one no problem. If I end up tracking down another dogleg box I'll have to track one down.
