We have up for sale the complete drive-line from a 1989 325IC with 138,138 miles on the speedometer. The speedometer appears not to be working but there was some wiring issues with the car so that mileage may be higher. I will pull the cluster and check the gears later this week to see if they are broken.
First off is the complete motor with wiring harness. We did a compression test on the motor before we pulled it and got the following results using the Bentley Manual procedure of 5 cranks:
Cylinder 1 150 psi
Cylinder 2 150 psi
Cylinder 3 155 psi
Cylinder 4 155 psi
Cylinder 5 155 psi
Cylinder 6 151 psi
All cylinders tested within the Bentley specifications so no wet test or leak down test was performed. Here is a video clip of it running.

Sounds just like a well oiled sewing machine. :-D
$SOLD Needs an Oil Pan and the usual seals gaskets, timing belt service parts.
Second we have the 5 speed transmission swap which includes the driveshaft, shifter, pedals, basically all you need to turn your auto into a much more fun car to drive.
$SOLD Needs a Guibo, Center Support Bearing, Seals, Rubber shifter boot and normal services parts replaced.
Third we have the 3.73 LSD differential
$250.00 OBO
We started the parts car but could not drive it due to a bad stub axle so we pulled the stub axle and shifted it up to 5th gear and then back down to 1st gear, then into reverse. No noise from transmission or 3.73 LSD was heard.
We can do some minor service on these parts like the timing belt on the motor and seal change on the transmission for a very reasonable fee depending on sale price. A 50% deposit will be required prior to any service work being performed. I have another pan with a slight crack that I will have welded if that makes the sale happen but the install with new gasket will be slightly extra depending on sale price.
Lots of other parts lying around which we will be posting up in the next couple of weeks. So if there are other things you need and you pick up one of these items we can work out a reduced price for the extra parts.
This money is going toward service parts for putting the 5 speed and 3.73 LSD in the Mtech so help me get-r-done!
Cheers,
Jim
