ultimate 2.7i stroker parts! hi comp pistons, lightened rods, ETA crank and more

i have for a sale a SUPER CLEAN set of EARLY 525E EURO ETA pistons.
these are made by KolbenSchmitt (oem supplier) and are the 11.2:1 pistons. combine them with an 885 head and you have a 10.2:1 2.7i stroker.

these are getting pretty hard to come by and even harder in this condition!

they have been balanced with the wristpins and are at 471 grams each.

these were NOT blasted, just cleaned up in an ultrasonic cleaner then rinsed with an aluminum cleaner.

now for a bunch of pics:

$250 plus shipping. i will only ship these with insurance added as these are not easy to replace!

NEXT i have a set of ETA rods that i polished and lightened for the story behind them, check out this thread http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=159988

i left them at the shop, but i have 1 in with the pistons so here is a pic of the one i had with me (will post pics of all of them tomarrow)

there are many more pics in the thread linked

$50 + shipping i have several extra sets of STOCK ETA rods also if you are interested, i will include them for FREE , but you will incurr additional shipping cost because of the extra weight.

i have a nice ETA crank also specs out, no excessive wear or burned journals

    $60 obo + shipping

will add pics this week, but i am sure that you know what a crank looks like.

i was going to use the above parts to build a supercharged 2.7i. i have decided to go MUCH bigger now so i don't need these parts.

trim black IS rear wing. all studs intact some cracking but you can't really see it. just put a fresh coat of trim black on it after i pulled it to install a E28 M tech1 wing.

    $35 plus shipping

So let's say that i have an 885 head and an eta shortblock. Can i basically rebuild the eta bottom end with these pistons and then slap on the 885 head?

          if so, i'll take them.

I'd love to see what this combo can make with the proper mods and a dyno tune!

IIRC, these pistons are designed for the 200 casting head (smaller than the 885), so with an 885 head the compression rate will be slightly lower due to the larger combustion chamber. I'd guess the comp ratio would be in the area of 10-10.5:1 with an 885 head (stock "I" is 8.8:1 iirc) which sounds like a great starting point. Add a Schrick 288 and you'd have a pretty hot setup.

                  GLWS dude.

                    parts pending sale/payment

if you use these with an 885 head, you loose 1 compression point so you end up with a 10.2:1 compression ratio.
