Whats the part number, and whats it for originally? E30 m3 master cyl is 23mm and has two diff size outlets unlike the regular e30 and the 25mm upgrades from e32s etc with the same size connectors.

I was wrong in my orginal posting as it was pointed out to me, (thanks) This brake master is for a 750I/IL and is a direct bolt on to the E30 cars. I have the same part # on my 88' Is 24v and love it. 34 31 1 156 643 It's been awhile and I quess i just forgot ,Sorry

Does it work with the stock tank, or would I need that, too?
Pedal effort is going to get about 17% higher, and the front/rear bias will be different.
Any issues with the reduced braking on the rears?

Ya the stock res snaps right on. I have never felt that the bias (rear) has change any on my car. Thanks, Joe
