Bmw e30 m3 m-tech ii small steering wheels

I have two SMALL (370mm ) M-TECHNIK II steering wheels.

The steering wheels were removed from e30 M3s prior to my ownership.

One of the wheels has leather which needs (serious imo) reconditioning ($175).

The other needs to be re-wrapped ($155) as it is no longer covered in leather.

Is this any better? Suffice to say, I would imagine you will have to replace the leather. But I am not an expert.

Then again, I initially was going to wax it without a replacement job. (if i didn't sell my IX).
