    E30 Center Support Bearing

    Hey guys,
I have an extra center support bearing I bought by accident as it was for a later model - later 1987 and up. I put it on and saw it wouldn't work so took it off. It is thus brand new.

Asking $85 shipped. Brand is URO.

    Thanks!

Wow I guess you have no ethics when posting - way to go! I paid $80 for this one brand new from a wholesale supply company. Looking to just get a little less than what I paid for it. And are they the same because some support bearings are indeed less money. How about you think before posting or don't post at all.

It should fit from what I was told when I called back. It just won't fit a pre-late-87.

Again what is the part number he is comparing them to? I guess WorldPac isn't what it used to be. Wow I really thought this forum was different - guess not.

Just confirmed part number I have is totally different than what FCP Groton is stating. Anyone want to post who has done some research? Or shall we stick to online national unwritten rules of communicating on a forum? I'm thoroughly disappointed as so many people recommend this forum. I build Spec E30s for a race shop and deal with parts all the time - sounds like it won't work out here unless folks are willing to step it up.

I've been here quite a while - just no time to be posting. These cars aren't exactly complicated.

The one I have for sale is listed for a late 87 and up. The bearing is mounted offset to the bracket as opposed to evenly spaced between the mounting holes. It's basically for a plastic bumper car.

I'm not cheap when it comes to parts. Shipping from CT from FCP Groton (I have had a wholesale account with them for four years) is way too far and not worth the extra time and costs. Time is money to me and these parts are too easily available locally.
