M50 Vanos Swap for sale - Charlotte, NC

Ok, decided to start a new thread on this. Thanks to a fellow R3V member the engine and transmission is now out of the car and ready to go. Currently engine and transmission are sitting together, but I can either split them up or take your transmission, clutch, flywheel assembly in on trade. Engine is a VANOS M50 out of a 93 325I using E36 engine arms and has an E34 oil pan. Exactly how it was in my car. I didn't finish the swap, so the engine wasn't started, however it ran great before being pulled from the donor car. It's mounted to a stock Getrag - I wanted to use my stock driveshaft and diff to save on cost.

I'm not looking to ship at the moment - this thing is pretty large and heavy. All preferences will be given to a local sale or if you can arrange pick up.

On to the prices:
Engine + transmission assembled with clutch, flywheel, etc - $900
If you want it split up or give me your transmission with clutch, etc - $550
Engine includes E34 oil pan, new thermostat and water pump, wiring harness, E36 engine arms.
Engine mounts - 90
Transmission mounts - 40
Headers - 275
Exhaust (from header back) - 450

Engine came out of a car with 89K miles on it, I spent 8 months looking for it.

Not to thread crap but, you will have a really difficult time trying to sell an m50 vanos for 1100 dollars.

Thanks Trackjunkie. If you read my post I'm trying to get 700 for the engine. 1100 includes a reasonably fresh getrag, clutch and everything else. If anybody is serious enough they are welcome to make me an offer.

I see good M50s going for $700, so that's what I'm asking. A good getrag is going for $250, so basically I'm asking $150 more for clutch, flywheel and assembly. At the end of the day I would prefer to keep the transmission since I can use it as a spare for my racecar.

Couple of clarifications. Engine harness is from a 5 speed E36 - uncut. Exhaust was custom made by a local shop in Charlotte. There is no cat, just a muffler. Headers were made by/for Carr industries in Greensboro. I bought a set when they sold off their last stock. These are very nice.
