If you are swapping your 318i or 318is, you will need to put in a 6 cylinder coding plug into your cluster. One of the small often over-looked details of the swap. I put one from a super eta into the 91 318is I sold last fall. It is located below the face of the cluster behind the trim on the right hand side.
