I had planned on swapping an M50 into my car, but life decided that I shouldn't.
So I've got the following stuff:
M50 headgasket set, brand new unopened. $150.25 new, so how about $125 shipped.
M50 head bolt set. Only $15.25 new, but it'll probably cost a bit to ship. $13 shipped? I'd prefer to ship it with the gasket set.
E21 320i brake booster, $40 picked up. If you really want it shipped, let me know and we can work something out.
Dougsic's brace. It's awesome, but I won't have a use for it. $70 shipped.
And of course, the M50 itself. I bought it four years ago with plans to rebuild it and put it in my car. I never got around to it, and really just need to make it go away. I'm hoping someone will pick it up and turn it into something awesome. I took the head off and took it apart, but I have every single part. If you bought all of this together, you would be well on your way to having a complete swap. If you question my mechanical abilities, I was a helicopter mechanic before deciding college was a better route.
The engine has a harness, complete longblock, 525i oil pan (i have the e36 pan, too) and the right dipstick tube.
Basically, all you need is a DME, a way to connect the harness, and tranny/motor mounts. I'd like to get $600 for the engine.
I'll get pictures of the engine if you're interested, but it looks like an M50 with the head off.
