    H&R Sport springs

    SOLD

For sale is a set of H&R Sport springs. The front springs have had about 1.5 coils cut off. I was in a pinch, had to put a car together to move it, and didn't have access to spring compressors to put these on the struts, so off came enough coils to put them together without compressors. I took about 1.5 coils off, which was plenty to do the job. I never drove the car like this, so use them at your own risk. I pushed it out of the garage, it seemed to drop it about 3/4" or so further then normal sport springs. Again, these are sold as-is, at your own risk. I'm not a big fan of cut springs, hence the reason I'm getting rid of them. I don't know how they will perform in any situation other then pushing a car ten feet.

    $100 shipped OBO

You can see where it's cut in the pic. I guess that's the bottom? Or if you just install them upside down, then it would be cut at the top. I used a 4-1/2" grinder with a cutoff wheel.

Got a few PM's already asking to separate f/r. Not looking to do that yet, but if you want to do that, just pm me an actual offer so when it comes time to do that I can let you know.

Any pictures when you had them on the car? Was the car sitting level? Extreme forward rake? Thanks!

It was on a race car that is 2400 lb, so it wouldn't have helped to have pics unfortunately. It sits higher then any other e30 would that is 2700-2800 lbs.
