    FS: e34 M5 rims (PICS) 17" $950.00

    17 x 8” offset 20 e34 M5 wheels (forged) Set of 4

I just refinished these wheels at my shop and they are all straight. They have new tires also, 215 40 17. No miles on them. I decided that 17”s are too big for me due to the roads around here. I love the way they look so I’m sort of dissapointed about getting rid of these wheels. I’ve kept them in my garage for a while to see if I’d change my mind, but I’m leaning towards smaller wheels. I’ve seen the same wheels in similar condition go for $1000.00-plus on ebay.

    Asking 950.00 firm

These would be hot on Jordan's car. I wish I had 5 lugs.

How were they finished? Powder or not?

                Look spectacular from computer pictures.

Alright, was it stipped to metal, or simply scuffed up and primered/paint?

Stripped to bare metal, and done very carefully. I'm not a "scuff and shoot" type of person. The epoxy primer that I used alone has about a $250.00 wholesale cost.(cost is for CA. $ is less in other states) The wheels were painted using Glasurit paint. Many coats, but not too thick. As you can see in the close-up pic, the paint line between black and silver is flush underneath the clear coat. I did not restore these wheels with the intention of selling them. This was something I did for myself and then changed my mind. (bad personality flaw) :?

Impressive, just had a set of wheels done the wrong way "scuff and shoot," and have had issues is why I was asking.

Wouldn't be interested in a trade for some 17x8" M-System II's aka e34 M5 wheels in need of refinish + cash would you?

:eeek: UHHH! all that hand work......again! no way LOL. Just kidding. But really the hardest part of the job was stripping the wheels without f-ing up the metal. A lot of time, but it really does show.

That's what i've heard...these wheels in particular seem to be quite a job to take down to the metal. Anyway, just thought i'd throw out the offer.
