Yep. Got a 2.5L M54 from a 2002 e46 in my garage. It was indeed badly overheated. It was running fine, but the threads in the block will need to be re-tapped, and the head may be warped, not sure on that.
Complete block, head, vc, intake manifold, Z3 oil pan, used clutch and pp will come with.
I'm not sure what to ask for this but make your offers more than I can get at the local scrap yard if interested. This would be good for someone with a project car perhaps, and who has time/and experience with this type of repair.
