It would absolutely work. I am running the exact head we sell on my own M20 turbo. I am running the 274 cam as well.

PM with a question sent. Pretty psyched to have found this thread.

Is there a recommended camshaft if I end up getting a turbo setup for a 325e (well, 327i lol) later? What about if I strictly stay N/A? Just been reading up on compression ratios and whatnot that come as a result of the 885 head, as opposed to 731 (320i/323i).

        Replied to your PM, thanks!

I would recommend the 274 cam for the engine combo, turbo or not.

I just wanted to thank you all for your support. I've had a great time building all of these cylinder heads and shipping them across the country! Just shipped out another head to a happy customer in Washington! Thanks again everyone and keep those orders coming. :)

my head is really leaking bad now - what do I need to order to install this?

head gasket set, head bolts (I already have a new thermostat, water pump, fan clutch

what is the lead time at this point if I order now?

What are the best HG set and bolt set to get? OEM BMW?

We ask for 3 weeks from time of order to time of shipment. Sometimes we get them done faster, sometimes we don't!

I recommend the OEM BMW headgasket. I am running one on my turbo engine. For the bolts, intake gaskets, exhaust gaskets, etc you can go with pretty much any brand. VR stuff is fine minus the headgasket itself.
