Whats the going rate for a 2.8 motor? Obviously some variables in there but ballpark.

On this build the customer chose and supplied the majority of the parts.

Yes, this is ready to run. Valves adjusted, everything good to go.

A specific tune is always a good idea but it would run on a generic performance chip with some 19lb injectors.

I always wanted to ask about this. You say the head is ready to run with valves adjusted? Setting the valve lash before the head is torqued doesn't doesn't exactly work. The lash changes after the head is installed and torqued correctly.

The valves are pre-adjusted so that there is no confusion and that no one forgets to adjust them. After the cam is broken in after the initial start up, you will need to re-adjust clearance. Torquing the head down does not change the valve clearance. Once it is set it isn't going to change by torquing the head down. The only variance that changes valve clearance is repeated change in climate (hot and cold).
