I'll send you an email - but it'll mostly just be a feeler. I have 0 experience with engine building - I mostly leave engine work to a more knowledgable friend but I do want to learn. I have just have ideas and goals - probably achievable in the next year or two so it'll be interesting to learn and get it figured out. Thanks for your time! I look forward to speaking with you!

Absolutely possible! We can exceed that power goal at the lower end of that budget.

Drop me an email to discuss further. info@bimmerheads.com

    Thank you,
    Matt

Thanks! :D Replied to your PM.

Here's an updated picture of the M20B25 build mentioned in my last reply.

We finished up the M20B27 rebuild and got the car back together along with some needed maintenance items. It runs and drives great! The customer will be picking up on Wednesday! We also shipped out a worked over 731 head yesterday to a lucky customer in Alabama. It's running a 274 cam, HD rockers, and dual valve springs. One of our Super Sport 885 heads is scheduled to go out this Friday.

    Staying busy here!

The M20B27 rebuild is just about ready. We'll be installing it this weekend. We're also finishing up a M20B25 stock head rebuild today which we'll be installing this week as well. We have another Race M20 Performance head going out by Friday. Last but not least we're working on a M20B25 engine build with knife edged crankshaft, short skirt pistons, and S52 connecting rods. It will be using our Super Sport Performance head.

Very Impressive piece of work by Bimmer Heads.

So please don't take this as a criticism. I wonder by the time you add all
the other components ,what is the gain/drain$ ?
So has anyone done a cost/benefit breakdown on this vs. the popular S50/52 drill?
    Fence sitting right now.
I've been there too. I had a S50 swapped E30 for years and found myself back in M20 cars. :D

Gains from our performance cylinder heads really all depend on each persons engine combo and supporting mods. There are SO many variables of M20 builds out there it's near impossible to predict gains without simply making up numbers which is not something I am a fan of. If you have any more questions or thoughts please don't hesitate to email me. info@bimmerheads.com

    Thanks,
    Matt
