    Rare e30 Dinan exhaust

Going for a new setup with my swap. This is a real dinan e30 muffler that was made for the e30. No rust anywhere and in good shape. No scrape marks on muffler as well. Asking for $350 or close to it. Saw one just sell for $500 so I thought the price was fair. Thanks.

Seen couple of sets of these, they all look like that, will reserve final call until full pictures but those look like Dinan.

Ok. The weld is original from Dinan. If you look at catalog photos welds are exactly the same. :)

Not good at taking photos but here it is. My e30 is quite lowand the camera is on the ground. Don't worry folks. I won't bust a Vlad on anyone. Honesty is the best policy. ;)

looks like an Eberspacher exhaust to me with Dinan tips welded to it. I take it that is the brand Dinan used when they produced these?

its real. Dinan did some internal work on stock oem mufflers and resold them. you're paying for the brand and their R&D

my only concern is if you hear any loose baffling inside the muffler

The internal was changed and also the pipes which connect to the cat according to dinan. It is flattened and wider for proper back pressure for the e30. There is no loose baffle and sounds nice. Will post a video if someone shows me how.

ah, ok, now I understand...see up here Dinan wasn't involved with e30's back in the day. then about 10 years ago they set up shop here and started offering products. BMW Canada wouldn't honor their products and said any upgrades or mods would void the warranty. that is why it never took hold. I guess they changed their minds.. :-)

I live a few mins from the headquarters of dinan. Nice set up there. Actually a lot of r&d was in this muffler. The throttle response is quicker but doubt any gains. What I like the most is the two tone sound. It's quite but when revved above 3500 it really makes a nice sound. Non raspy. Only reason for selling is due to my s52 swap. It needs to breathe better and don't wanna chop this one up. Rather sell it to a purist I guess. :)

I will once I'm home. If u look at the photo above it shows the 2 pipes for the rear. Can't tell that much but u can c a difference where its flattened.
