    24v Swap Harness Adapter

I was using this harness adapter to hold me over until I had a chance to hard wire the E30 plug to the E36 harness, and needless to say, I finally found the time to finish that project.

This adapter was made by the now infamous Gregslow and was used in my 318is. I ordered it for my car obviously, but it appears to be made for a 325 since it has the oil level provision on it. I never used that feature of this adapter since it would have been pointless with a 318. Even with the bad press Gregslow has received, this adapter has been on my car and working without any issues for about 1.5 years.

    SOLD!

So for everyone's piece of mind, I went through the harness, pin-by-pin. Here is how it is wired,

    E30-E36
    1 -25
    2 - oil level plug
    3 -
    4 - 12
    5 - 23
    6 - nada - s/b 22 (FIXED, PIN 6 NOW GOING TO 22)
    7 - 21
    8 - 24
    9 - 20
    10- -
    11-19
    12- 8
    13-13
    14-14
    15-15
    16-17
    17- -
    18-18
    19- -
    20-13

Everything looks OK, except Pin 6 (O2 sensor heater) is not hooked up to anything. I could hook it up but it would require unwrapping the harness, or you could just do it yourself. Either way, the rest of it appears to be wired up well enough.

Fixed the wiring for the O2 Sensor heater. Pin 6 is now wired to Pin 22 as it should have been.

From what I can tell, this harness is now wired properly, even though it worked how it was previously.

                Thanks man.

I disclosed the seller i got this thing from in the 1st post, due to the issues some people have had. I already went through the thing to determine the pins were wired correctly and I also opened the thing up to correct some wiring.

Just because a few adapters from gregslow were found to have issues it doesnt mean ALL of his harnesses had problems. The facts are in the first post, and if you dont like it, move the hell on.

The only information 328junkie can provide on this forum is telling people their wiring diagrams are wrong and apparently he now bashes FS ads...

First off yes I apologize for flat out shitting on your thread, just have a angry part of my heart reserved for those adapters/their maker. If you've fixed it then you've fixed it

Second off I have helped hundreds of members on here with wiring and countless other things. I've just gotten tired of people asking the same questions or asking for handouts. Every person that has sent me an email or pm I've helped them work through all their issues so I don't appreciate you calling me out like that.
