Are the m50 injectors compatible with s50 motors? I am unsure if thy use the same ones, but I figured that you would know. If this is the case, then count me in for a set!Comment

Recommend Against
I would not recommend that you send injectors to
MaksV to get rebuilt. He does not guarantee them.
I sent a set from TurboJake to him and when I got them back one did not work.
He told me among other things that they are not guaranteed.
They are only tested to see if they will fire with compressed air.
also he said,
"Take a long screwdriver and tap the injectors that are not functioning. Often air bubbles get trapped inside the solenoid creating a weak fuel condition. It just comes with the territory with used injectors."
"They all worked on my bench with compressed air. It can take a few cranks to get all the air back into the fuel system. However I can only guarantee injectors that I source."
He did not offer to take a look at or rebuild that injector.
My mechanic did tap on the injector with a screwdriver and it did work for the 20 mile drive home, only to fail again
Now I need to get some reliable rebuilt injectors.
Happy motoring.Comment

So a little clarification.
I can only guarantee injectors that I source. If you send me some random garbage, I check everything out, and If I come across an issue I will notify the owner. You asked for ideas, so I gave you some.
The issue I see most of the time is people take their cars to "mechanics" and then the issues arise. I find considerably less issue with people who actually know what they are doing. All the injectors I rebuild blow through with compressed air, the solenoids cycle, ect. Thats all I really can do. I am putting together a flow bench in the next couple of weeks that should provide more reassurances. However I can only guarantee my parts and my work.
Sourcing injectors from personal suppliers always carries risk.Comment
