M-Tech II 370mm Steering Wheel (Mint condition)

The wheel is in MINT condition.
I restored the leather using Leatherique products, I re dye the leather wrap and finish with their clear kote.

I will include the ring needed for the proper install on a airbag equipped e30.

    SOLD!!

Why is the leather so shiny? This wheel, when brand new, had a matte finish on the leather, not shiny?

The original poster claims the "clear kote" as the culprit.

I apply the Leatherique clear kote because I deleted my power steering, that way I have a layer to protect the leather so it will not worn out the leather and gives excellent UV protection.

How would you classified it then?

X2. It looks really worn from the shiny-ness of leather. It shouldn't reflect light, it should look like clean skin.
