FS: Rep ACS exhaust with tip Dual Inlet/Outlet

I have a muffler fs that fits exactly onto the stock e30 piping. It sounds identical to a acs muffler like the one in the video, just doesn't have the logo of acs on the muffler. It does have a acs tip though. Not sure what metal the muffler is made out of but it seem to be some sort of polished metal. The reason why i took it off was because my girlfriend bought me a magnaflow 14815.

Looking for a quick sale and willing to Ship.

    Asking 120 OBO.

not my car but sounds identical:

    1. There is no such thing as an ACS replica muffler.

    2. Polished metal (stainless steel) does not rust.

    3. Many OEM mufflers with rusty baffles can sound louder than stock.

What you have is a steel muffler that someone has welded a ACS muffler tip onto and also welded the stock catback pipes onto.

Price it however you like, that's really none of my concern, but don't beat around the bush. Call it what it is otherwise its misleading.

      1. I didn't mean it being a acs replica, just saying its a replica of some sort.

      2. The muffler doesn't have rust its the piping leading to the tip with rust.

      3. there is no rust on the muffler so sound isn't effected it on the outside part added on where the tip was put on.

      4. i think i would tell if the muffler is a stock muffler, definately isn't stock sir.

There was piping added on the outlet of the muffler so the tip can stick out. Thats were rust developed.

Its not a replica of anything. Its a stock oval muffler for another car (not a BMW) that someone has welded E30 catback pipes onto.

I'm not sure you understand what you have because before you were passing this off as a legit ACS muffler.

You have a hacked up ordinary steel muffler. Could be an old Flowmaster or other cheaper aftermarket brand but its easy to see that originally this muffler was not built for an E30.

Sir, i know i mest up when i thought it was acs. they do sound very identical. This isn't a stock muffler i can assure you that. LOL. Its most probably a muffler of some sort like a flowmaster or magnaflow or any after market exhaust.

All i can say is that it has dual inlet and outlet and it has a acs tip and it sounds identical to acs on e30. The muffler piping and positioning lines up exact with oem. i even have the piping attached on it still.

          BUMP! excepting all offers.

Regardless, I like the sound. This thread has inspired me to go ACS on my muffler instead of Magnaflow. DAT TIP

Even trying to say it sounds like an ACS exhaust is misleading. A Youtube video (or any online video) is not an accurate way to compare exhaust sound.

If you have an aftermarket Flowmaster or Magnaflow muffler then it will sound like a Flowmaster or Magnaflow muffler which sounds nothing like an ACS exhaust. The only exhaust that would sound remotely close to an ACS muffler is a Remus muffler which I can assure you this is not.

I'm only trying to help you as a seller because if I had purchased this under any of the pretenses you eluded to in your FS posts I would be extremely pissed with what showed up on my doorstep.

Give honestly accurate descriptions and you easily find happy / willing buyers.

i know for the first time without taking off the muffler it sounded like one and had the tip so i assumed it was a ACS. now i can ASSURE you it sounds identical to acs exhaust. it might be some random exhaust made for another car. But i am telling you it sounds like acs exhaust for e30 and it has a acs tip. thanks.
