    FS / FT : 3.64 LSD off my 24v e30.

    Hey all,

I'm selling / trading my 3.64 LSD off my s52 swapped e30 (with ZF). Although its a lot of fun its ultimately a bit to short of gearing for me. I'm looking for a 2.93 - 3.23 LSD.

Open to offers on my 3.64 LSD - OR open to straight trade for whatever with whom-ever needs that extra pep in their step.

    P.s. - I'm located in Tucson, AZ

    - Cheers,
    D

It wasn't a typo it IS a 3.64 and its LSD. And Yes they are pretty rare.. I haven't seen too many of them. THUS its a really good opportunity for someone to take it up on a trade :) Its just a little too short of gearing for my tastes.

And yeah its on my s52 swapped e30 m3 now, so it'll bolt right up to your e30.

P.s. - On the note of that. The 3.64 LSD is also for sale (not just trade).

Nice, too bad we're soo far away from each other...

                  I have access to a s2.79 - s2.93 - s3.25

I've got a small case s3.64 on my 318is. Pretty rare.

For your s52 swap... I'd recommend a s3.25 for all around dd and fun use... s3.46 is the money. I just sold my 310whp e30(EDIT: with the same close ratio e36 tranny), I had a s3.46 on it and the s3.25. The s3.46 was awesome!!! I rocked my s3.64 on it and ya, its a lil much.

You said you're looking for a 3.23?... I'm not %100 but I'm pretty sure that ratio is only on the e36 m3.

Curious, is your s3.64 a 318i small case or the m roadster medium case?

before you trade it away you should search around for what people have sold 3.64's for.. i found some interestingly high prices!

True that the 3.23 came in e36m3. However you will need a z3m for it to bolt in an e30. U can use the r&p If you wish to go to the trouble

Oh no, for sure... An e36m diff definitely won't bolt up to his e30m. That's what I was tryin to come across with. I just sometimes forget that some aren't as fluent in the mechanics of it all.

I haven't done it, but I'm sure he could just swap diff housings. But why go through the trouble when he could find a s3.25 from an e23,e28.

Like I asked if the s3.64 was a 318i or M roadster diff.

Don't get me wrong... the rare 3.64 lsd is a lot of fun. But I'm planning a cross country trip and am doing more highway driving to steer me towards a lower gearing. And yes its on the e30 now so its smallcase?

They def are rare, which is why its a sweet deal for someone to come and straight trade me :) - I'm absolutely willing to sell the 3.64 also, OPEN TO OFFERS, I'm not looking to break someone's bank on it, I mostly am just looking to re-cooperate cost of my 2.93 or 3.23 lsd I plan on putting on. Someone jump on this!
