I don't think the bimmerworld/mishimoto boots will stretch enough to fit over the 540 TB. The stock E36 TB is 64mm IIRC, if the 540 TB is 75mm so I doubt the nice silicone boot with the ports will work.

This still looks like a great product as Bimmerworld sells something similar for silly money. Not sure if they use a 540 TB though...

Just thinking out loud mostly about what intake elbow would work and not create vacuum leaks with something cobbled together.

How much for shipping to Canada for just the adapter plate? PM me if you like.

Pretty sure his one port is for the ICV.......the crankcase vent runs from the intake manifold to the pan. I will double check his set-up.

    I thought I heard Samco was making a 3.5" silicone elbow with a port(s)?

I just looked at pics of the OEM boot and it only has one port as well.....looked at both '95 and '98.

If Samco makes one that is 3.5" on the TB side and has 2 ports please show me where!

Yah, realoem shows the OBDII picture for both, but the OBDI part number is 13541738757 which looks like the attached pic with 2 ports.

People have been running this set-up for years. My buddy has had his for 5 years with no vacuum leaks or CEL. It is not difficult......just takes a little creativity.....many ways to add a port(s).

You can use 3.5" to 3.5" 90 degree silicone elbow and add these also. http://www.siliconeintakes.com/produ...0359eafa7c9b31

You might give BW a call to verify, but seems this boot may be 3.5" both ends. They sell a BBTB and recommend this elbow. It has 2 ports as well.....if you aren't deleting ASC, I guess.
