No, the provided steering rack bolts/washers/nuts are standard zinc-plated bolts. Just like the ones BMW uses, but longer.

Dang. Wish I got the steering rack bolts with mine. But I'll contribute a picture anyway on my rallycar. I was able to keep the stock plastic under protection.

Thanks for the pic shEck3lls0! It's good to know that it is possible to keep that splash guard in place. Especially for the rally guys!

Yo - I wanna take pics and do a proper review but since haven't had a chance - lemme just give a quick review.

It work. It works well. This skidplate is solid as hell - I was standing on it to see if I can bend it to sit a lil higher on my s52 e30 (very low) so it doesn't hit all over the place - I'm 190 and it didnt move. Held me like I was a feather. Badass. I've hit a lot even in the couple weeks I've driven with it - and a few times I was like OMG not another busted pan - I'll check underneath and the skid plate is all scratched/ground down but the pan is fine. So KNOCK ON WOOD I really hope it continues to save me in the ridiculously poor roads of SF/Oakland.. I'm just afraid that the radiator support will bend under some of these hard hits.

It is a steal for the value you get. All the best to you RED!
