    FS: US Ellips/Euro grills

Hella US ellipsoids. Light pitting, no cracks or damage to lenses, housings, or buckets.. Adjusters fully functional. Modded 9005 Silverstars for the lows and 100W Hella 9005's for the highs. Wires/bulbs/connectors included.

I'll throw in a set of euro grills with the purchase. The Right side is fairly hacked (to let more cool air thru to the filter), but usable. The Left has a small crack by one of the mounting points but is fixable and also usable.

$175 shipped OBO. PM or email ed94r@cox.net

Reason for sale: Installed Euro ellips/silverstar H1's. ...Still undecided if this was an upgrade or not..

The 9005 Silverstars in the low beam was a drastic improvement. You have to rotate the bulb slightly in the housing to find the sweet spot of light. I rotated mine about 5-6* before center. Once you find the spot, a dab of superglue will keep the bulb in place.

      Lights still for sale!

The bulb kinda moves around in the housing...It's not locked in in place anymore like the 9004's...a couple of mm's this way, a couple of mm's that way...You move it around while the light is on so you get the most focused beam thru the projector. It's easier done than explained...

The best way to do it is to file some plastic off the light. If you hold a 9005 up to a 9006, you will see how they are different. Make the notches for the bulb holder as close as you can get them. Then inside the connector shave down the little tab in the middle of the 9005 to slide your stock low beam connector onto it. I've got 65 watt 9005s in my lowbeams, makes a difference.
