We understand completely... we understand that Josh's behavior was inappropriate and he got called out on it... just because you drive an e30 doesn't make you Godly and it certainly doesn't make you right all the time... more-over being a moderator of an e30 forum AND driving an e30 does not make it ok to be an asshole when you please, certainly NOT on the forum... past that... its just not good business practices... sorry you didn't want to sell your bumpers or shrouds yet Josh and sorry someone asked about them but here's a suggestion... in a F/S thread, dont mention something unless you want to sell it or at the very least have questions asked about it! It doesn't make me want to do business with you any more seeing how you treat other prospective clients...Originally posted by PeaveyBassiste30's are the best cars on the road. And the drivers of them are the best people alive. Sorry you dont understand. Josh, carry on with the sale. Sorry n00bies who don't get it are on here.

As far as the comments about this forum... here's my perspective on it... MOST of us spend every day of our lives either trying to get our friends into e30's and BMW's and/or trying to make NEW friends who already drive them... every last one of my CLOSE friends drives an e30 now... each one of them bring something different to the scene and if I wanted them on R3v and they made a simple and VERY common mistake like this one I would expect you guys to be a little more forgiving and understanding than Josh was to this guy.
He was exactly right about the attitude on this forum and ecspecially for someone as seasoned a veteran as Josh is to this forum, I would not expect such behavior. Neither should anyone else. I am also a seasoned veteran of this forum dating back to the begginning of E30sport and condoning Josh's actions, ecspecially after he said to drop it was very inappropriate. Be thankful I'm not a mod...Last edited by BMWguy; 01-20-2006, 08:10 AM.Comment

You can stop ripping on me anytime now. I don't need a lecture about my "business practices" and my "behavior. I wasn't trying to run anyone off, nor was I trying to flame him for asking something wrong. You also need to re-read this post by me, explaining that I meant nothing by what I said, it was not my intention to sound like a jerk.Originally posted by BMWguyWe understand completely... we understand that Josh's behavior was inappropriate and he got called out on it... just because you drive an e30 doesn't make you Godly and it certainly doesn't make you right all the time... more-over being a moderator of an e30 forum AND driving an e30 does not make it ok to be an asshole when you please, certainly NOT on the forum... past that... its just not good business practices... sorry you didn't want to sell your bumpers or shrouds yet Josh and sorry someone asked about them but here's a suggestion... in a F/S thread, dont mention something unless you want to sell it or at the very least have questions asked about it! Now if everyone has successfully un-twisted their panties, can we get back to the sale part of the thread? :DOriginally posted by EurospeedYes, that's why I edited my post, because my initial one was a bit too harsh. To answer your question, I don't know what I'd want for them right now, I haven't considered a price, or ever what they'd be worth. I'm not a snob, and I don't have an attitude problem. I'm just trying to focus on selling one thing at a time, that's all. To be honest, I found nothing sarcastic or indicating any kind of an attitude in my first reply to you asking about the shrouds, I wasn't trying to be an asshole, I apologize if it came off that way. I only meant to clarify that the thread was specifically for the airdam.
Too often, whenever something is posted for sale here, in come the vultures trying to pick and pry at everything that isn't listed for sale, like someone is parting out their whole car or something. It happens all the time, and it's something that I myself tend to get tired of. I'm sorry if it came off like I was snapping at you, it wasn't my intention.
In the future, in sale threads, please take up any issues with me (or others) via PM, so as to keep the discussion out of the sale thread. That being said, please keep all replies from this point on the subject of the airdam for sale.
RIght now I've got a few people in line for it, so I'll keep everyone updated. As you've probably noticed, we just got home from the hospital with my new little girl, so things are a bit hectic right now! I also went ahead and lowered the shipping price. One more thing, just so everyone knows, I'm not pulling this part off tomorrow to ship it. I've got to at least wait a few days or so until the weather clears up, so I can actually get on the ground under it to pull it off, and then get it boxed up. So to whomever buys it, please be patient!Last edited by Jand3rson; 01-20-2006, 11:26 PM.Comment
