We have had this setup running in our '95 e36 m3 since March of 2012. Car was a complete restore, stripped down and everything replaced new. When it came to the motor, all the best and obvious bolt-ons went on:
Active Autowerke header
Euro HFM
aFe 3.5" intake
24lb injectors
TRM chip
Evosport Pulleys
Car made 240whp/213tq
Dyno shows improvement of TRM vs. Conforti chip
Car also has the Active 3" race exhaust reflected in dyno, not included in sale.
A couple weeks ago, it started blowing some white smoke on start up. It definitely has a head gasket issue. Motor runs fine but will obviously need some attention.
Here is the deal...we decided to go s54 instead of addressing this so we have a package deal for someone. Not looking to part just yet, trying to see if we can just pull and ship complete. We spent just over $2600 for the parts listed last year...asking $2200 +shipping for the motor WITH all the parts on it. Basically a discount on the parts and a motor that needs a little work thrown in with it.
The engine is still in the car and I can take some video of it running for anyone interested. It is at our shop in Coral Springs, FL.
