Regarding the bent strut. You can bring it to a proper suspension shop and they should be able to bend it closer to spec. After that, I'd suggest reinforcing it and getting camber plates. The set I picked up for my 325 had a bent strut. I ended up getting it closer to spec and reinforced. I threw it on my M3 because I run camber plates on it. The M3's alignment is perfect.

that bent strut mite still work for somebody who wants to run those new chinese style coilovers, since they want you to cut the tube off anyways.

When fixing the strut, I would add webbing between the knuckle and strut tube. I can't find a picture of the reinforced one I have, but here is a pic of one of my struts while I was doing something to it.

You can see the gap to reinforce just above the cast iron bit of the strut housing.

Thanks for the info guys. I know it can be fixed. I dont want to fix it because if it's a little off, I dont want to be blamed for it. I'd rather discount the price and not deal with fixing it.

I was just trying to inform potential buyers that they can fix it and how to. Camber plates would be required after the repair.

I found the picture for potential purchasers. After fixing the bent tube, have the shop reinforce the bottom of the tube where it mates with the cast iron part. After that add a reinforcement plate between the strut housing and knuckle.

                          Free bump for you sir.
