    Exterior Oil Cooler

I have seen some owners of E30's online put their oil cooler on the outside of their front bumper. It looks pretty cool, and I was wondering how I would do it and if it was hard? No trolls please.

Sounds like not such a great idea, exposing your oil cooler like that..

You take the oil cooler.... Then you put on the outside of the car. All while looking like a complete jack ass for not understanding the style it came from or why you're doing it.

How? I know on my E28, the factory lines aren't long enough to make it outside the front bumper. If you want to do it like the old Japanese cars do, you'll have to buy an aftermarket cooler with longer lines and I think they made adapter plates that fit between the oil filter and the engine for that.

Is it hard? I don't know, it depends on your mechanical experience. I wouldn't consider it hard, but you might if all you've done is basic, minor things to your car.

Do your research and it's really not hard to figure out, hence why you get sarcastic answers on here.

        Pic for reference.

There is soooo much wrong with this post that as I begin to type this response I hate that I'm wasting the bandwidth.
#1. You are not selling an oil cooler.
#2. You are not buying an oil cooler(almost forgive able if you were)
#3. You asked for no trolls all the while exhibiting troll-like traits.
#4...and quite possibly the most important...

IT LOOKS LIKE ASS!!! And is quite possibly the single worst idea I've ever heard of in an e30.

all of this, Plus, if you really want to do this? you're a tool, you'll look like a tool, and you should just sell your E30 now before you actually do something dumb to it. I hate people who follow stupid fads, especially without knowing where and why it came about.
