Have a good set of plug wires that retail for $250 selling for $100 or possibly trade for something e30 related for my 325i. These were for my 325e and will not work on 2.5l but worked great for me when it was running. Interested in an aftermarket steering wheel, 2.5l crank angle sensor, 2.5l intake stuff (everything in front of tb), 2.5l o2 sensor

325i's have Motronic 1.1 or 1.3, which uses an impulse sensor on the #6 spark plug lead, that is not removable. 325e's use motronic 1.0, which does not have this impulse sensor, so the wires OP is selling could not be used as is for a 325i.

BUT, I always grab the #6 lead and impulse sensor from any e30 I see in a salvage yard, figuring that with a stockpile of working impulse sensor equipped leads, I can swap them into wire sets from 325e's to make a proper 325i set.

If you didn't mind having a mismatched lead, you could use that approach for the wires. Alternatively, I am betting that if you were extremely careful and resourceful, it would be possible to disassemble the #6 lead, install the impulse sensor on the set OP is selling. Try that at your own risk, however.

And to be fair, you CAN run a 325i without an impulse sensor... I mean, it will run, but for the same reasons you CAN but shouldn't run an engine without a coolant temp sensor or o2 sensor, you probably shouldn't run these as is on your 325i.

Ok, so this will work on a 325i running megasquirt since the impulse sensor is useless. I think our chances of getting pics are as good as gas prices going back to pre W prices. OP posted this on the 7th and his info page says Last Activity: 08-10-2014 05:41 PM

Running without an Impulse sensor is nowhere near the same as running with no coolant temp or no o2. You might notice an off idle stumble and possibly slightly lower mpg but nothing crazy.

The impulse sensor simply tells the computer what stroke the engine is on so the injectors fire in batches.

Without the sensor the injectors fire all together. Ran my car for a year without one and when I finally got the right set, didn't really notice a difference.
