Well... That would have been so much easier... I tried my oem one then I tried the bilstein so then I got my friend to machine down the strut lol the metals probably pretty thin now but it works.
I found this kit was a good upgrade, lowered the car well with e90 drop hats in the front. Found everything was a good stiffness and reduced body roll a lot. Good upgrade so jump on these!!Comment

Do you have a part number for the threaded collar? Or an email you sent to them about the issue? I don't actually need the part anymore since they said they didn't sell anything to make it work. But might be able to use it if these struts break because the lack of material on the insert. They're acting like dumbasses and won't help me lol Guy said I need to get the part number for it, cause they don't know what they sell. I don't think I'll buy ST again lolComment
