Yes, you can set the RPMs at which the lights start.
During the installation you set:
1.) Thresholds for cold engine:
- MIN threshold RPMs (when the first LED lights up)
- MAX threshold RPMs (when all LEDs start flashing)

2.) Thresholds for engine at working temp.:
- MIN threshold RPMs (when the first LED lights up)
- MAX threshold RPMs (when all LEDs start flashing)

You always set the "cold" thresholds lower than the "hot" thresholds. As the engine temperature rises, so do the RPM thresholds.

The CEL functionality is independent of the SI board, so it is also independent of the Shiftlights board with which you replace the SI board.

Yes, definitely. I'm commuted to a few other projects right now but would like one in the future.

What rpm is the light set to? Is it adjustable? Will it work with a chip that raises the redline?

The RPM thresholds are adjustable during the installation with the cluster taken apart. You can change the thresholds at any time later on, but you have to take apart the cluster to do so, to access the shiftlights board.
The shiftlights will work with your redline raising chip.

We had some issues with our supplier , but are now sorted out.
We have the boards ready. Now we need to solder the parts on to them (which is painstaking and slow) and test the functionality (which is fun).;D
Please keep in mind we do this at our spare time, so max one or two sets a day can be finished.
