I think, but don't quote me on this, that there is another option: If the buyer does not have their EPA 609 Certification, the buyer must agree not to use, open, install, or otherwise vent the refrigerant, and only to act as an intermediary in selling it to a final buyer/user who is 609-certified.

I've got 4 cans too; wish I had a manifold gauge set to test my system though.

Probably can find an inexpensive set on Ebay.

It is best to have a local shop evacuate and vacuum down your system before recharging. Its the only real way to know that the correct mount of refrigerant is in there.
