I have a new interior on order so am putting this out there now. Offered is the leather skins only...no foam, no hardware..just the covers. Obviously these are redyed and I do have additional leatherique dye in both the original Pearl Beige and the BMW Coral Red so you can take it anywhere in terms of final look.
The notorious rear upper is a replacement I picked up a year or so ago and the upper seams are completely intact. IMHO I think the upper is vinyl which is a plus since it will not shrink like leather and who ever sits back there any way. I'll also say that since I have never stripped a headrest that the covers will be on a best efforts basis with no guarantees so let's just say seat skins only.
The only notable defect is that the right upper bolster on the drivers seat is split. This is not typical so upper rights are actually fairly easy to find. For those not familiar with dyed leather, it does not wear like the original factory finish so please don't expect that. Let's just say I recommend who ever buys this redye it to suit their own taste.
I'm asking $300 plus shipping. The economics are rather simple...I can redye the rear upper to one color and sell it for $150 and I'm quite sure the 4 good left side cabrio bolsters would make up the difference in what I'm asking if I sold them off. The rest of the interior is therefore free ;)
Please note my new interior is still "under construction" so this is more of a presale. If you are patient I am more than willing to commit them with a modest deposit and agreeable timeline.
