hareware is self tapping screw so it will allow you to put the flap where you want to put it since some people have different wheels you can put them where you want to.

the ABS plastic is very durable and I would not think it would break that easy. its flexible and strong.

Yes these are designed to have a universal fit to any stock BMW. So most likely these will work perfect. Just adjust where you want them to be.
