FS: Startec Taillights - SEA, WA

EDIT: Decided to keep these until further notice.

    Hey R3v brethren,

I am reluctantly putting my early model Startec Taillights up for sale. The taillights are in fantastic condition with no cracks, blemishes or damages whatsoever.

Located in Seattle, Washington. I can ship these on buyer's expense.

$800.00 FIRM or these are going on eBay with a reserve of $1,000.00.

If you need more detailed pictures (sorry, i made this thread quickly at work), please shoot me a text.

    -Brad

these are considered the "pink" or early model Startecs. The smoked ones are later production sets

I'm interested. I just bought some and they came in damaged. Waiting on insurance claim.

            tail lights

were these lights OEM on E30's or were they an aftermarket part? IF OEM, were they delivered on M3s? Thanks.

Aftermarket. They could have been delivered on the M3 if the dealer installed them but that's a long shot.

For a clean set, that's probably about right. I haven't seen too many pop up recently, either. I would value my NOS set at $1500, and have seen sets with issues still fetch $500, or more. I wish I had bought a lot more of them a few years back...

Glad you got them sold. I got screwed with mine. Seller didn't pack them good enough and the post office denied the claim.

That's happened to me before. The seller just denies any wrong doing and the shipper blames poor packaging on the seller so they point the finger at each other. Did the seller attempt to make it right at all?

He claimed he would make it right. Supposedly he tried to appeal and he lost again. So I got damage lights. He doesn't even respond to my text or calls.

Who did you buy them from? You should make a thread in the feedback section.
