The accident destroyed the passenger back end, which includes gas tank. Luckily, the engine was saved. 1991 BMW E30 318I with full M50 swap, original M42 transmission, shortened driveshaft, 4.10 open diff. Mileage unknown for engine and transmission. Swap completed by a BMW mechanic in Reseda, CA late 2014. Car wasn't driven until June 2015 due to smog issues. BUT THEN, the swap passed California BAR and got certified. New Catalytic Converter, with full stock piping from an e36 from headers to muffler. Welding job wasn't great quality, but the CAT is brand new really. Driven for 6 months until this accident. Engine was very strong, great pull, no overheating. Some parts to note:
-New radiator (M42)
-New 16" SPAL pusher fan that cools instantly
-New lower temp radiator sensor
-NOT INSTALLED but comes with new, in box lower temp thermostat
OTHER PARTS
-IE street/track adjustable camber plates (one screw missing)
-Front Sport Seats 7/10
