BMW E-30 Hartge Front Grille Badge.
Now this is the finished item of my project to manufacture a high quality front grille badge for the BMW E-30 Hartge. The difference being much better letter definition and more equal spacing of the letters and perimeters, which was very good on the first and second ones but much better defined on the final one.
The original ones were never very good to say the least ,so here is my version which I think you will agree is very close indeed if not better.
Please note that this is not an original item.
This has been made from aluminium billet (medical grade) and the paint is there only to gauge the appearance of the finished item so it may not be to your taste but this may not be a problem to someone who knows about painting metal.
The back of the badge has an area where there are two M6 roll-tapped holes (threads formed not cut for extra strength) for which to attach the badge to the grille for added safety of falling off or casual theft, no more stick-on.
The front thickness is 3mm and the back is 8mm for the roll-tapped holes and this is a very, very strong badge indeed.
I own an E-30 Baur and it looks good on mine but ........it can not be so.
Anyone interested please contact me
