    FS: Racing Dynamic Springs

    From the RD Web Site:

Spring kit, BMW 325 84-91, Cabrio 87-93 exc ix E30; these springs are 100% German made on CNC precision winding machines from chrome silicone and chrome vanadium wire (world's best spring steel), shot peened in & out, phosphate coated, powder coated RACING DYNAMICS blue, German TUV certified, in the highest standard ISO9002 production facility . This spring kit lowers the car down about 1.75" (40mm)

These springs are being removed to install a Spec E30 suspension. Previous owner reported they are less than a year and 5,000 miles old.

Perhaps you have some experience to back up your assumption? Do you own a set of RD springs that you can send a pic of? Who would bother to knock of a set of $250 springs? It's not like it's a Prada bag or Rolex watch. In any case, I assume you'll be taking a pass on these.

Qualified and interested buyers can check out the RD site at:

Racing Dynamics is the home of special suspension parts including sway bar kits and strut braces for BMW, MINI and Porsche automobiles for over 28 years.

If it turns out they're fake, I'll give the buyer his/her money back.

These springs are labeled Racing Dynamics. I purchased the car to turn into a Spec E30 racer. The previous owner told me that the car had a number of upgrades (including these springs) and all have turned out to be true.

I don't know if the factory is ISO9001 certified, just what's referenced in their website. Here is a pic of them installed:

Kyle's old car? Or, one of them. Sweet.

FWIW I didn't see the "Racing Dynamics" text on the electrodynes... or am I blind?

Yes, this is one of Kyle's cars. The one with the broken cam shaft. I replaced the head and all the missing bits under the hood. It's in the process of getting new bushings all around, control arms, H&R Springs, Ireland sways and camber plates and the Sparco style strut bar.

I've also got the black and red intake manifold and valve cover that will be for sale soon, once I get them cleaned up.
