This came with the car when I bought it, I've had it a year and a half. It looks quite a bit older than that. I would just keep it as it is good enough for my listening but I need trunk space. I have no idea who built it.
It is solidly constructed and works fine. Please look at the photos to see the design and physical condition of it. I'm fairly certain the drivers are Kicker F8a freeair woofers which I believe are rated for something like 200w max @ 4ohm.
