Red Label 413 DME

For sale is a Red Label 413 is good working order. It still has a stock chip in it (never been opened to the best of my knowledge) and has been tested in an S50 swapped car and works great. Tons of write ups on silver vs red labels but basically this DME is without the troublesome EWS security system of the later model silver 413s, thus is much easier to utilize in a swap project with chipping etc.

Everyone was back and forth with that ews crap "red and silver labels have ews" or "just silver labels have ews".
I can confirm a completely stock red label will work just fine in a swap. Good price op, thats less than I paid for mine. Glws

Thanks, its what I paid for it way back when so I figured I would let it go for that same number.

I have two full S50 swaps under my belt (one a customers build), and I am by no means an expert on the subject, but to the best of my knowledge as long as the engine had a red label 413, it did not have EWS or the associated chipped key, and therefore did not need to be flashed or chipped out of the system when used in an E30 chassis (hence their popularity with swap builds).
