Steve @ Ultimate Garage's warehouse sale - not mine

Was running around the Interwebs when I stumbled on a guy named Steve in Emerson, New Jersey closing up his business and hes trying to sell his stuff. He's got A LOT of stuff for sale from BMW parts to shop equipment and other random stuff. Figured I get the word out? I don't think this stuff was posted in the classifieds here so have a look in the link below

I am pretty sure he is still selling stuff, the excel sheet on the website has a april 23, 2018 time stamp

    **again, not my stuff**

For the curious but lazy, that's about $120,000 worth of BMW parts with discounts applied. I bet if someone offered half that they'd get it all.

You are correct, I could e-mail a stranger and ask if he's legit.

Let me rephrase the question: Does anyone here have first-hand experience with this guy?

Someone sure did go out of their way if this is a scam, still, I would want the reassurance too.

                    Parts for Sale

I've probably done business with some of you (or your parents) over the years. BMW parts sales was the bulk of my business from 1978-2000 after which I moved onto designing and outfitting high end garages and workshops. I now focus on tool sales....specifically Facom and USAG out of Europe. Approx $100k in parts had been sitting in my warehouse for the past 10-15 years. Many are now NLA. My accountant wants me to start disposing of them this year so we can take a write-off on the books at year end. This means destroying the parts before disposal. At age 66, I no longer have any interest in the parts business...perhaps some online parts vendor will make a decent offer and take everything. Drop me a line if you're in the Northern NJ area and want to stop by and pick anything up in person.

Here's some info about me on my website......https://www.ultimategarage.com/about.htm . I'm out of town this week but checking email if anyone has any questions.

I recall buying a 17mm short male socket from Steve for removing diff drain plugs. Great little tool and for those who don't know Facom it's the French equivalent to Snap On. I have a set of L shaped hex wrenches that come in quite handy.

                        Diff drain socket

The Facom diff drain socket that was popular years ago was the D.107-14 . It's been replaced by a magnetic version...see https://www.ultimategarage.com/shop/...oducts_id=6594 .

This has been going on for a while. I ordered a decent amount of things for a nice price.

                          He is legit.

I can vouch for steve being legit, and his organization is amazing. He's been super responsive about the gaskets and piston rings that I'm ordering.
