$99 Seat Shock Shelter in Place Sale...has ended !!

    April 4, 2020 update. see post #82

I've been quite busy these last few months so wanted to bring everyone up to date. Since I started offering these I have tried to stay ahead of the demand and to always have stock on hand for immediate shipment. Sometimes this has been a challenge since either sales are cyclical or the factory takes a little longer to produce them.

Throw in my busy schedule, volatile exchange rates and the potential for tariffs to kick in anytime and for the time being we should consider this a group buy with limited availability rather than an "always available" item. As they sell down I will reorder and based on production upgrades at the factory, I'm hopeful that new orders will arrive faster than they have been.

The good news is that I have a fresh shipment on the ground in the US and they should be on hand in the next couple of days. The price for 2 sets (so 8 shocks) which will do 2 sport seats, will be US$139 including PP and US Priority Post. Canadian orders are plus USD25 and to most other countries is +$35. This usually includes international tracking but NO INSURANCE.

I will be reaching out to those with active inquiries first, but please note I do not hold product so its 1st cash that gets shipped. I will of course refund any paid order if I do run out of stock.

Thanks for the understanding and continued support.

Bump for a great product. I just did mine yesterday. It’s not a “fun” job, but so nice to have properly functioning seats again!

I have fresh shocks on hand for immediate shipment. Again, I only have so many for the time being and they are moving so if you want to do your seats before winter this would be a good time to grab some.

Paid orders are packed and will get posted asap..

      Thanks

Hi, do these shocks move the backrest forwards for getting in the back?

Thats a strictly manual operation so no. What you describe is a broken release cable

And, generally speaking, should the seat be able to move up and down in height while the driver is sitting in it?

I am sold out of these and have no immediate plan to re order them. Sorry

They allow you to adjust your seat back using just the lever and they prevent the seat back from flopping backwards when you try to adjust it. If that happens while your driving it's a big safety issue.

Yes, but you should take your weight off the seat by grabbing the wheel as they are not THAT strong...again not something recommended while driving

Thanks. So is it a spring mechanism that raises the height of the seat?

There are 4 gas struts in each sport seat...2x450N for the seat bottom and 2x350N for the seat back. Comfort seats only have one for the seat back so you could buy one set (of 4) and do the omplete drivers seat plus the passenger seat back.
