Pair of MB Quart QM-130 5.25" woofers, Made in Germany (you know those Germans make good stuff lol), the mounting ring can be flipped around to accommodate top mount or reverse mount.
These are high quality speakers from an expensive oldschool MB Quart component set from the company's heyday, nothing like modern-day MB Quart.

I'm not sure as I haven't tried and don't have the ability anymore.
However, here's a side by side with a stock e30 front woofer:





Looks about the same size to me.
