Roko call a local BMW dealer service department. tell them you bought an E30, the radio says CODE on the display and you have the radio serial number. They will look up the 5 digit code for you

I’m still around, but a lot going on. I have all the posted and emailed requests queued. Unfortunately I have very limited time to work this stuff right now.

Folks that have a 5907 or 5908 and just want to get them repaired should look for professional shops. There are two I can recommend.. you can reach me per contact info on first post. Expect to be $350 or so for the repair work.

regarding Jay’s Canteloupe BT boards, I will be getting a new batch produced. I will let the folks that have contacted me know when they are available.

if someone qualified is interested in helping out with demand, reach out. Those who have dealt with me know this is a labor of love, not a business. If you’d rather not wait and want your work done professionally, see above regarding repairs. I will only recommend work I have personally inspected.

              thanks

PM sent to bradnic - hoping to help out on the refurb / upgrade side. Restoring my CM5908 gave me the tinkering bug again. Always happy to contribute to the R3V/S14net/BMWCCA community.

Also interested in a stereo for my ‘92 325ci. I have purchased the cad with a pioneer stereo but I am restoring it to original and I’m looking for a CM5908 BMW stereo.

I am planning a production run of 50 boards. They won't be available for a few months though. If you have emailed me, PM'd me or posted on this thread I have your info. Once I am sure they are ready I will start contacting each of you. Price will be exactly what Jay charged.

Those of you still reaching out, PLEASE DO NOT PM. I love R3V but the PMs are pretty useless to me with the new system. reach out via fb.me/oemhifi or bradnic at oemhifi.com. You probably will NOT hear from me for a bit. DON'T WORRY.

REMEMBER. this is not a business for me.. at all.

He charged one of my customers $350.
I inspected the work and it is OEM quality.

I receive absolutely nothing in return for this recommendation.
