This is a refreshed bottom end with new rings and main bearings. The whole motor was disassembled at the machine shop and worn parts were replaced. I was unaware that it was an "ix" motor as the seller referred to it as an "i" After researching upon completion of the work that the sump area was different and could not be used for my application I decided to offer it for sale. I'm keeping the head as I've sourced the correct bottom end. The engine showed hardly any wear so those items were really the only thing needing replacing since we had it torn down. Honestly I should have just planned for a timing belt/tensioner and water pump and dropped it in the car. The price is reflective of the labor of the shop only, it's half of what I have in the bottom end of the motor. It does not come with an oil pump or pan. I have the head still attached in the pictures and the bottom end picture area is where I was confused about the lack of an oil pressure relief valve hole. Any questions just ask.
