WTT: e36 sport seats; black leather, electric, heated, w/ e30 brackets

I'm looking to trade my e36 black leather heated, electric, sport seats for a set of mint e30 sport seats, black or grey, cloth or leather. Or a set of racing seats. I will entertain all seat ofers, actually. If the seats you have aren't mint or close to it, I'd like some cash because these seats are worth a fair bit more, even though they aren't perfect.

The seats will come with brackets for an e30 that I made out of 1"x4" tube steel. They are very nice, with minimal driver bolster wear. Passenger seat has 2 areas where stitching is coming apart, they've been like that for years, not a major issue, should be an easy fix.

There's a pic on my website, at the bottom of this page:

    I also attached some pics.

    Thanks,
    Justin

damn, if only they were sports!

I'm sure somebody out there will want this setup though, especially since you're including the brackets!

    goodluck.

Uhhh, they are sports, as my post says. They aren't M3 Vader seat's but they are 318/325/328 sport seats, with big bolsters and adjustable leg support.

How much for them outright? Buddy needs some for his e36

Can I see a pic of how the bracket was made?
Does it raise the seat any higher?

              holy crap you're right!

How did you get the heated seats to work? Where did you draw power from?

I don't have any pics. It's a 1" tall by 4" wide piece of tube, as long as the seat rail, one on each side of the seat. The rectangular bracket has holes cut in it for the floor pan bolts. It also has holes in it for the seat rails. If my complicated math is correct, that would raise the seat by 1".

If you want to do it right, you would just drill new holes in your floor pan anyway. If you don't want to drill through your car, like me, you can use the brackets.

The heated seats require a power and ground, there is plenty of those throughout the car. If you want it to work correctly you wire in a switch to the power. If you really want it to be nice you use the original e36 heated seat switcsh with wire harnesses, which I'm including!
