I can make the parts without the insides, making it necessary to use pins..

Then why would you estimate they weigh the same if the FG ones are made without the inside supports? Shouldn't they be lighter?

if you have ever taken off your spoiler and then opened the trunk you would realize hot such a small differance in the weight of the trunk effects how fast it flys open.

hm.. is mine different then? when i push the button to open my trunk it pops out of hte latch but then i need to manually pull it up(but the shock things hold it up)

so would this effect me?

The race hoods are lighter because they are only the outside in fiberglass. I can also make the same hoods as the cf, but in fiberglass in and out.

I will buy a CF sunroof if it comes out, assuming it can work like the stock one with reasonable fitment. my FG one was super light (~5lbs) but it didn't fit well enough to satisfy me.

cf sunroof! hell yea, next best thing to glass moonroof. I still need that rear csl bumper ary, im laggin it cuz of work but im gonna get in touch very soon. Oh and how bout some e30 m3 cf firewall covers. that would be sick;)
