Hey, noobish question. I wanna get one of these CF hoods and MAAAYBE the trunk but my e30 is my DD and gets left out in the rain and soon to be snow, will that be a problem for the CF and if I get the hood/trunk I don't want it to leak or anything (if you can see where i'm coming from on this)

I have seen many cf hoods/trunks on daily drivers, including my cars. Im sure it will be ok if you don't leave the car outside, in a pile of snow, all the time:).
Thanks,

Something will need to be done with the trunk spring tension. Those trunk brackets could (not that I would know) launch a medium-sized projectile from one end of a three car garage into a light fixture on the other end, which may or may not shatter and fall to the ground.
Anyway, yeah, a CF trunk would fly up and something would be damaged.
Maybe you could cut the trunk spring so it doesn't even push on the trunk and somehow mount a hood shock (or a similar shock).
Just a thought. Im sure there would be a way around this though.
