    wierd ive never seen these before. whats the point if u dont have throwing star wheels. then if u have the wheels whats the point of covers? maybe im just not sure what these are for?

      M5 wheels had two different covers that were used to help cool the brakes and bearings by pulling air through the wheels...

      The same wheel could take either cover... Many people like them on for looks many people like the look without them... personal preference.

      But they were designed for function...

          What are they made of and how do they attach?

            I believe they are made of magnesium, someone please correct me if I'm wrong. There is a torx bolt that attaches to each of the 5-spokes. Here's a pic of mine painted diamond black to give you an idea of how they would look, great price BTW

                        Someone got a deal. I guess I'm in the minority that likes stars without any covers. Just pure business looks cool to me. I was lucky - my set was cheap because they were missing the covers.

                        Good price for star covers for sure though.
