So ive had this Radar detector installed in my car for about 9 months. Its worked great and probably saved my ass at least a handful of times haha. Im getting rid of it because i dont get to drive my car anymore (no cars at school for two years :( )and ive learned how to tame my driving to 10mph over at most all the time.
That said, It still works great and the install is awesome. Its completely hidden and the way i had it set up, no one will ever know unless they hear it going off or you show them.
The main control unit is mounted in the ash tray.

The radar sensor is mounted behind the grills on the bracket Whistler supplied and using the bolt for the hood release. No making or drilling or modifying anything. Take one bolt out, bolt the bracket on mount sensor to the bracket. Done.

Laser sensor is mounted on top of the rear view mirror. This is kind of up to you. i hid the wire by unscrewing the sun visor and stuffing the wire up in there. Pretty stealth too.

Ill throw in the ash tray with the cool little mount and a set of US spec grilles that are already cut out so the sensor can "see" a little better.
All you need to do to run this setup is find switched 12v and ground for the controller. put in the included ash tray which holds the controller. Run the one wire through the firewall to the radar sensor, mount the sensor, and hide the laser sensor wire.
I paid $220 w/o shipping for it when i got it.
Asking $150 shipped with the grilles and the custom ashtray.
thanks!
